Fahrenheit 451 Clarisse McClellan

In Fahrenheit 451 Clarisse McClellan seemed to play a huge however diminutive role that has an influence on the main character, Man Montag, along with the entire book. I was intrigued by Clarisse from the very start. I loved how she appeared so dark and mystical, as if she came out of thin air. The chemistry in between she and Montag was almost immediate and it felt exact, as if that’s the way we should connect with every stranger we are available in contact with.

I check out Clarisse’s words the way I might go through an interesting circulation of poetry, they immediately hooked me in. Although Clarisse appeared strange and uncommonly talkative, you can’t assist however feel a connection with her, and yet pity her at the very same time; You can almost sense she has all of these interesting, strange concepts, yet no one appears to offer her the time of day, like a lot of us might feel through out our life time, so we get why she is right away drawn to Montag, since he listens.

I think Clarisse’s significance in this book compares to the open minded people of this world, that open the lack of knowledge of the closed minded people. Montag never questioned his task before satisfying Clarisse, he even enjoyed his task. Clarisse questions him about how firemen utilized to put out fires as soon as upon a time, instead of starting them, and Montag laughs this off, but it starts to unconsciously sink in, along with all of Clarisse’s other insights to life do.

Cut to Montag’s life and we realize that nobody truly talks to him about life in general, or anything any longer and Clarisse opens our eyes to this. Clarisse represents everything that is incorrect and best with the world. She speaks her mind, and is blatentley open about her views on things that no one else appears to realize. Clarisse takes pleasure in life’s easy necessities such as dew on the lawn and how happy individuals seem or not seem. The world in this book and the world now puts those kind of people off and say they are dreamers or they’re not quite “typical”.

Clarisse is very various than everybody else in the book, she does not get captured up in the materialistic or the trends of the world, she takes life as it concerns her, and lets individuals know when she notifications that they don’t appear to be enjoying their lives, she is concerned about individuals and has an authentic charismatic character to her, that all of the world appears to have lost, and that’s who she stays true to. I was surprised to learn that Clarisse passes away so suddenly therefore unnoticeably, since I thought she may be among the primary characters of the story.

In all reality Clarisse starts a legacy, and leaves her mark on Montag, handing down her beliefs and insightful mind. After Clarisse passes, it depends on Montag to continue this voyage of what is genuine and what is true, it is up to him to conserve and alter human kind, to open their minds as much as what genuinely matters. I think what Clarisse did for Montag is what all individuals need to provide for this world; To open their eyes and see through the fakeness and the trends, to rise up what others think is “typical” and to remain true to your beliefs.
