Cost-effectiveness is one of the benefits enjoyed by the users of web-based surveys. Online or web-based surveys require little money to complete the process. The person contacting the survey only needs to create a website or have the survey hosted on another website. The surveyor incurs the cost of internet and Webhosting or the creation of a website. The respondents have to pay an internet bill in order to complete the survey. On the other hand, traditional surveys are more expensive, since they need more materials and work.

In the traditional survey, an individual needs more people to contact the survey. Transport cost is also needed in order to reach the respondents. Online surveys are less expensive than traditional surveys. Better reach is another benefit of using web-based surveys instead of traditional surveys. The web-based or online survey enables the surveyor to reach a large number of people. The use of a web-based survey enables the surveyor to reach more people without contacting additional interviews or scheduling complicated fieldwork.

The survey is carried online and anybody with access to the internet can participate in the survey. On the other hand, the traditional survey does not reach more people. The surveyor needs to carry out more fieldwork in order to reach more people. It is tiresome to meet more people so traditional survey researcher opts for a small number of people. The web-based survey carried on online platforms enables an individual to reach more people than the traditional survey research. Finally, web-based survey enabled the surveyor to have better targeting.

Better targeting benefit is enjoyed by the person carrying out the web-based or online survey. Over the internet is simple and easy to target people depending on the interests and behavior. In the traditional method, an individual can only target people with respect to demographics. The use of web-based or online surveys enables the targeting of respondents, while the traditional method does not allow better targeting. Kay Jewelers Redesigning The idea of redesigning stores by Kay Jewelers is not bad. Redesigning will lead to the attraction of more customers due to the production of new products.

Currently, people are spending most of their money on entertainment, jewelry, cloth, and leisure. The most liked jewelry are rings, reckless, and watches. Kay Jewelers should consider maintaining the sale of rings, watches, and reckless in their stores. They should also consider the sale of beverages and alcoholic drinks for customers. Currently, venturing into the leisure business can be more profitable. Kellogg’s Increase in prices will not make Kellogg’s make more profit. The increase in price will disappoint customers.

The customers will look for Kellogg’s competitor offering the same breakfast cereals at a lower price. The increase in price will automatically lead to reduced sales.
