Extract of sample "The Electronic Services of Private Sectors"

The research on impact of the electronic services of private sectors on the society is of importance in the contemporary world of electronics flourish and achievements. The journals and books on the direct topic are rarely available, but the investigation should somehow be carried out after fetching the requisites. The strategic assessment on ‘The Social Security Administration Electronic Service Provision’ can be used in our study on the impact of electronic services of private sector on the society. The assessment is done by Leon J. Osterweil, Lynette I. Millett, and Joan D. Winston on behalf of four organizations which took initiatives on the topic mentioned. “Committee on the Social Security Administration’s E-Government Strategy and Planning for the Future, Computer Science and Telecommunications Board, Division on Engineering and Physical Sciences and NATIONAL RESEARCH COUNCIL OF THE NATIONAL ACADEMIES” are those organizations. (Osterweil, Millett & Winston, 2007, p.1). The importance of this journal in my research is because of its coverage on the application of electronic based systems in the various sectors of the business field including financial institutions and the appraisal on the topic of the future of electronic services in various business sectors with respect to the contemporary society is much momentous as implied to my requirement. “Although much about the Social Security Administration (SSA) is distinctive, in some ways the SSA, its activities, its information technology (IT) needs, and its operational characteristics are analogous to other organizations outside the federal government.” (Osterweil, Millett & Winston, 2007, p.32). The quote stated above identifies the application in every business sectors which will increase the security data storage, handling and analysis. The research report of Nick Moore, Acumen is the one which caught my attention during my exploration for the sources for research. In the paper named ‘Three-Dimensional Impact: A case study of electronic government’, the author explains on various aspects of the impact. The study has utilized the electronic administration services; thus I chose it with zero second thought. “The assessment of impact requires measurement of three dimensions: perspective, extent and intent. Electronic government services can be used to illustrate the scope and nature of these dimensions.” (Moore, 2004). The measure of impact is essential in almost all sectors of life including business, education, administration etc. So, the importance of the topic becomes clear and the significance of it in my concern is well identified. The usage of electronic administration is demonstrated in the paper through recognizing the three dimensional requirements of the impact analysis. The proper definition for the administration with the electronic application stated in the paper is the one which caught my glance of curiosity. It states that “electronic government can be defined as a cluster of activities concerned with the use of information and communication technology to deliver public services of some kind.” (Moore, 2004). The administration utilizing available provisions of information systems for communication and data management can be termed as the electronic government. The same is applicable in the private sector as well, so that the impact analysis with three dimensions can be achieved. The Czech Republic has tried to make up their position to the ‘New European Information Society Strategy’ through various steps as declared in the paper ‘Position of the Czech Republic to the new European Information Society Strategy.’ The paper explains how they are applying various technological electronic innovations in their society effectively. They are motivated to make their society educated in the field of electronic and communication and then utilize the situation for the electronic administration with which they aim to achieve a distinct position in the contemporary world. They say that “Europe should support the existing mechanisms and structures of the ICT and the Internet governance.” (Position of the Czech Republic to the new European information society strategy, n.d., p.6). The same makes me happy to support my research work with valuables. The act of Czech Republic to encourage the introduction of electronic services in the private sector as well holds up my investigation. They are making the people get positively adapted to the newer development which creates an advantageous impact on the society. “Should we wish to increase the use of e-Government by the public and the private sectors, we need to offer high quality services (e.g. one-stop-shops, electronic submission of documents, etc.), which save time and money.” (Position of the Czech Republic to the new European information society strategy, n.d., p.9). The actions as stated in the above quote puts up the methods to be adopted at the governmental level to initiate a positive impact of electronic services on the society. The Article on ‘e-Government for the new Millennium’ really has stuff in it. The paper explains on every aspect of the introduction of electronic ideas in rendering services to the society. The article identifies e-Government as “it is the very specific task of using the tools offered by Information Technology in various aspects of the process.” (E-Government for the new millennium, n.d., p.1). The advantages and disadvantages of it are identified in the paper without fail along with the identification of the acceptance of the same by the society. The curious queries regarding the matter proposed by the public are evaluated and answered through the paper. The possible impact of the electronic service on the society is well explicated through this article which helps me a lot in my work. “Information Technology is changing the way the society functions.” (E-Government for the new millennium, n.d., p.1). The societal factors are affected by the introduction of the traits of information systems in various aspects of real life implications. ‘Achieving Success with Electronic Services-The Importance of Having a Sound Business Architecture’ is a Guidance Note published by the ‘Forum on Tax Administration Taxpayer Services Sub-group.’ The article found to be most supportive for my research topic as it explores the aspects of Future Business Architecture with the implication of electronic services in them. “As more and more business processes have become more and more IT-dependent the line between business and technical architectures has itself become more blurred. The e-agenda, in which IT largely is the business process, has intensified that blurring.” (Achieving success with electronic services, 2005, p.13). The note claims that contemporary sectors including public and private are already dependent on the information and communication techniques which help in the better build of the business architecture. The electronic applications in the business sectors are accepted around the globe with zero ill feelings due to the depth of profit they expect through it. The paper proposes and explains about various procedures applicable for the betterment of the business set up. My investigation can be made clearer with the help of this paper which motivates on intensifying the application of e-schema in almost every area of business. The sources identified for my research was with considerable difficulties due to the irrelevance of many sources readily available. Each source turned out as not fully on the topic, but applicable to it in many ways. So, before selecting it, there was a prerequisite for the analysis of the source in depth with the expense of time and patience. Hopeful outline for my research has been made as follows: Abstract: What is the paper? 1.0 Background: Situation, environment and selection of the topic. 2.0 Objectives: Voyage through my research, what it aims. 3.0 Review: Investigation with respect to the selected sources for research that includes all possible aspects on the topic. 4.0 Recommendations: Findings and Analysis followed by personal implications. 5.0 Conclusion: Overall achievement through the paper.
